Turning the board on – Resetting
- Turn on, display will read:
“Start where you turned off last YES or NO” - Press NO, display will read: “I am your Nevco MPC-6. Please enter your model code.”
- Enter code 8 7 1 and the display will read: “Do you want to use penalty time out YES or NO?”
- Press YES, display will read: “0:00.0 DN”
…Now you’re ready to set up some hockey!
Setting the game time – Preparing the period
- Press SET then TIME
- Enter the time for the period (minutes : seconds)
EX: 2 2 0 0 and press YES - The display will read: “Period 0”
Enter the period #1, 2, or 3 and press YES
Entering a goal – Adding to the score
- Press or HOME SCORE or GUEST SCORE
- Select 1 (Not 2, 3, 4… etc)
- Press YES
Correcting the score – When you’ve got too many
- Press SET then HOME SCORE or GUEST SCORE
- Enter the correct number of goals (2, 3, 4… etc)
- Press YES
Adding a penalty
- Press SET then HOME PENALTY or GUEST PENALTY
- Enter the penalty time (minutes : seconds)
Example: 0 2 0 0 and the display will read: “Y/N 02:00” - If correct, press YES – if not press NO
- The display will read: “G./H. player #”
Enter the player’s jersey number or a 2-digit number
Removing a penalty
- Keep pressing HOME PENALTY or GUEST PENALTY buttons until the desired penalty appears in the display
- Press the PENALTY CLEAR button and the display will read: “Clear (Y/N)”
- Press YES
