Our corporate IT Team hosts a large trade show every few years that demonstrates how staff use (or could use) technology in the workplace.
This was our second attempt to offer fully mobile live streaming coverage or the event and commentary. This enabled staff at remotes sites an opportunity to virtually attend.
The following description accompanied the video on the employee intranet:
“On Tuesday, September 29, staff from across the organization came together for eCity, a one day interactive showcase, highlighting how The Corporation uses technology to deliver public service to citizens.
Weren’t able to check out eCity? Take a tour with Doug Nouwen from the myCity team, featuring interviews with Information Technology’s Director, Heather Reed-Fenske, Deputy City Manager, Brad Stevens and the many business unit participants who showcased at eCity.”
