Calgary Transit is announced it is launching four-car CTrain service ahead of schedule.
On Oct. 29, teams from several City of Calgary business units competed to pull a 13-ton bus across the finish line in the fastest time. The bus pull event, which promises to be a lot of fun, is being held in support of the Civic Employees United Way Campaign. Teams of 10 competed to pull 40-foot, 13-ton buses 100 feet in the fastest time.

The City of Calgary celebrated 100 years of municipal golf in Calgary at Shaganappi Point Golf Course. Shaganappi Point was Calgary’s first public municipal golf course and is the second oldest course in Calgary.
